I say this as a person who has kept a similarly sized system (210 gallon.)
It looks like a fairly new system. I like what you've done with the right side with regard to the aquascape and look forward to watching it develop.
The lighting rig is quite stylish. My only concern there is that you might be forced to stick with lower light requiring corals. Stags and other SPS might not color up as well as you'd like unless you have a fair bit of full on sunlight to suppliment during the day.
I say this because I had three 250W MH with mini-lumenarc III reflectors over my 210 system and got decent growth, but the colors and growth didn't really explode until I added a fourth MH.

I like that you have very few fish. I presume that you will add more as you go but I would encourage you to keep the numbers low. That said, I love the fish choices!!! I would highly suggest getting a cover on that tank especially since you have two clown pairs and a wrasse. Preferably something like low iron glass or pond netting because egg crate cuts out most of the light that does not originate from 0 degrees.

I also like that you are sticking with fish and corals from the same region. There aren't too many people outside of public aquariums who do this. Are you keeping the temp at tropical or sub-tropical levels?
BTW, your fish look phenominal.

Nice job and Kudos to you!!!

Thanks Walt for the compliments and great observations!

Check out these measurements of the lighting system, the most advanced and powerful on the market! :) Einstein Aquatics is the only store, let alone hobbyist, to have the E-Power/Manta Combo in the Americas.

Lumenarc III vs E-Power vs E-lite Vs Pl : DaniReef

Covers go on the tank at night, not worth losing my babies.

Good call, noone else has noticed - Yes, other than a random indo-endemic fish or coral, the rest is strictly Aussie/Lord Howe Style Biotope. Our other displays morph frequently, this one will stay and progress as is. Really hard to keep the nicer corals in the tank, customers keep begging to buy them, I give in, so I keep having to restock it...

Tank temp ranges from 78-84 throughout the day...

Fish to be added to this current system: Trio of Dussumieri Tangs then we'll prolly have ELOS custom build a larger aquarium for the shop!

j/k... Lord Howe temp of 73-75 throughout the year! Tunze chiller keepin' the MC's and Latz happy 24/7.

We have a local retailer that has a georgous tank filled with corals that were being saved for up to a year before he put up the display. Some of us were getting angry because it seemed that he was saving all the best looking stuff for himself. After the display was assembled and the colonies had a chance to grow out a bit, he started fragging the colonies and selling the frags. You might be able to do something like that for your customers. Kinda like having your cake and eating it too.
Again; great system. I look forward to seeing it progress.

Yes, please put a cover on. I would hate to have such nice fish jerky. If there is one thing I have learned over the years is that covers are a must as eventually one will try and jump.

Looking real nice. I used to have a cover on my tank when I first got my Latz but decided to take it off after noticing that they got more comfortable with their surroundings. My tank is 20" tall though. I did follow someone's suggestion (can't remember who, sorry ) of making an overhang and "escape" routes for the clowns so they don't get too skittish and can hide instead of jumping out of the tank.

How do the pair of Mc's and latz get along in the same tank? I don't think I could sleep at night with them together.

I had a 29" tank with a lot of overhead swimming room. I had anemones and a multitude of hiding places. The few tank mates she did have were model citizens. My latz still jumped.
I was on a business trip and my night light burned out. When the timer turned off the halides she got light shock and that was the end of her.
Covers are a good thing no matter how well you think you've covered all the bases.

Thanks for all the compliments ya'll! I posted a few updated pics to the website too!

Don't worry, as I said, if noone is at the shop, eggcrate is on the tank!

Both pairs get along with each other like they've always been best of friends, but there are multiple bubbletip anemones in there, although the MCs tend to host in the Large Jardini Coral.

Beautiful fish and tank. I personaly love the building and grow out phase of new tanks in this hobby, your tank will be fun to watch develop.

I, like the others above, worry about my clowns jumping. This week I had an oynx percula jump out of a tank it's been happy in for some time, you just never know, cheap or expensive they jump and it's heartbreaking.

Good luck
