I guess Fedex doesn't consider that a "major city." The best I could do was about $212.70 for a 15 Lb box and it wouldn't arrive until 6PM on the second day. I know fish and corals can stay in a bag for several days after collection but I still consider this to be pretty risky.
If you want to go in together on several specamins, I have a holding tank with seven 18"x18"x12" chambers that is currently sitting dry. I figure we could probably do a larger box for around $300.00 and split the costs.
Or is this a pipe dream?

No. You guys were a few thoughts ahead of me. That was for Fedex.
Permits shermits. We need more invasive species! If only I could get some BTA clones and Latz planted off the NC coast, we'd be in business! Of course the invasive lionfish would probably eat them all. :(
