Hello,

I have 3 E. quadricolor Anemons. They are one year old. At the beginning I have had two. One of the Anemons split itself, and there were 3 Anemons.

Sometimes doing a large water change or move in position will make them split. I find this very desirable. For coral-philliacs... not so much.

I'm ashamed to admit that I have lost 8, that I can remember, over the past 20+ years. 3 crispas. Two small, very bleached ones back when I had NO IDEA what I was doing. The other one went to war with my haddoni and lost. Two BTA's. First one was my ignorance. Second one was carried around the tank by a large female maroon clown until it died. Two magnificas. Both were learning experiences. One PLTA that found a power head.

Hopefully after years of trial and error I have gotten a little better at caring for these animals. Right now I have one green haddoni, two LTA's, one magnifica, and one gigantea.

I also have a H. crispa and have had it for 1.5years now. Never lost a single anemones so far. Well it was my first one and is doing great. Was pretty bleached out when i first got it.
