brook or fin rot?

Hi. About a week ago I purchased two small Allardii clowns. After i looked at them for a long while for disesases etc. they seemed to be normal. But two days later the smaller one acquired brook the next day. then after that the larger one got brook too and since then now three days later i have been giving it freshwater dips with hydroplex.on the third day i added formalin. this morning he lokked a lot better but when i came home from school his fins have gotten a lot smaller and one of them is looking really bad......

So what do I do now????:(

evilfrog,
You should try dipping the fish in quick cure, at a concentration of 1/2 teaspoon per 2.5 gallons worth of water. Dip with high aeration for 1 hour, and repeat daily, until the symptoms subside. If you do not see results within the first day or so, Give me a ring, as I have some medications that are a little stronger. JN
