Long story short, I have too many clownfish pairs still, and having fish in breeder nets is NOT my idea of a pretty tank. So I have this pair of "Onyx" percs, 1 Wild Caught, 1 the progeny of my Wild Pair, and neither of which is showing Onyx coloration at the moment. I'm willing to sell this pair, which was supposed to be my backup pair, on the condition that the person who purchases them maintains a log on their development here on RCF and/or MOFIB, most importantly as it relates to their coloration development. The female at one time did have full black flanks, but then LOST them. I have not been able to get that coloration back, although currently she looks dull / brownish in the areas that would normally be black.
The male in the pair is still developing stripes (tailstripe is just starting, middle stripe is still growing) and is less than 1 year old at this point (probably 9 months?
So this is a pair of Percs that right now is healthy and well bonded, with TONS of potential, especially if someone is willing to tinker with the conditions to help the female regain her coloration and the male to develop properly.
Not shipping, local Pickup Chicago Only! I will be speaking at IMAC, and it's in my back-yard, so I can deliver the pair to a buyer there as well. Below are some pictures of the pair currently as well as 2 images of the female BEFORE she lost her black (we think hosting in Xenia may have done it!)

The following two images are the female EARLIER before she lost the black - the one with the Xenia and other baby Onyx from my other pair was shot in January.
