Mine are in a 30 breeder??? Actually those currently look happier than the one in my 210 gallon that has a HUGE crispa to host.
Why do you say they scare you? Do you mean in terms of being able to successfully keep them or is it some kinda weird childhood phobia? :p
My experience with nigripes is MUCH scarier than that of latz.

Keep in mind that gasters get as big or bigger then latz.

just worried that they won't have enough space. how long have you had them in that tank???
I know people have gasters, why won't they share. OK add latz to the list
anyone know where to get some? for a decent price?

If bluezooaquatics dot com still has any. That would be one source for Latz.
"Decent price" is subjective. In my mind you really can't afford to debate price when you're looking for something rare.
If you and I see a latz or a leuc at the same time and you stop to comparison shop, it will be in my tank and you'll still be looking for one.
EDIT: They've been in there a month and a half to two months.
