Nice setup (although I'd divide it up for multiple pairs!). Why so low on the SG?

ok fish boy this is just so i can get my hands wet with clownbreeding im planning on building a area for a multi brood stock tanks connected to a common filter.

im going with that SG so i dont have to adjust it later on on anything(can grow the live foods at that sg and larva do best at that sg, plus it saves on salt) growout will have a higher sg around 1.021.

i have the seaclone on the tank and have added several clay pots. im getting my female WSM tommorow and have a phosban reactor on the way decided to just buy one instead of making my own. going to put a bit of rowaphos in it with my polyfilters and purigen.

Be careful trying to pair that maroon, they tend to be very viscious clowns, especially when they are the female bullying on a juvi or even male.

i know already heard what the maroon im getting did to her old mate killed him in QT.

so im going to take alot of precautions on this.

any tips to make it safer for her potential mate??

also i have some hitch hikers, well left over snails, malayasian trumpet snails that survived the salt bath and are doing fine now should i pull them out or leave them? they are a freshwater species of snail, great scavengers and algea eaters and they actively stir the sand bed. just wondering if theyll do harm or multiple to troublesome levels? ive never heard of them being in salted water not even brackish before so any info. would help.

thanks

the MTS did have a baby so they are a viable replacement for expensive astrea and cerith/nassarius snails.
