Rotifers Needed! Please Help!

Hi everyone!

My Maroon Clowns recently started to spawn (pics below). I couldn't setup my algae/rotifer systems fast enough to handle the first batch. Now I have the algae (I purchased the concentrate), but I haven't received the rotifer eggs yet. Can anyone give me a rotifer starter (~10mL)?
I live in Elizabeth, NJ- and I'm willing to drive (not out of the state)...I would really like to raise the second batch (laid Thursday Night)...Thanks,

Have you checked your local lfs? You could always order online and have it overnighted (would probably cost you an arm and a leg though)

I have rotifers available. I have my phyto and rotifer cultures running and bought a breeding pair of ocelarris from someone on ebay but they haven't spawned yet. So I have extra phyto and rots that pretty much go to waste. I could send any size you want. A gallon even, I think rots might do ok with 2-3 day shipping so I could send it flat rate to make shipiing worth it. PM me if needed.

The second batch of eggs did a disappearing act (I removed the offending Scooter Blenny). However, now I have a rotifer culture going & they've spawned a 3rd time- so I should be ready for them....

I am so jealous

I purhcased a pair of spawning ocellaris and they haven't got adjusted to their new home yet, so I am raising cultures for nuttin right now. Well, just feeding to my reef tank actually.

thats the very first thing learn how to raise rotifers and algae and then whe you have babies you will do ok the other way is more dificult

Yeah, I got the rotifers and phyto down to a science. I'm not so worried about culture crashes anymore since I have several batches of each. And have had enough time to learn the cycle.
