Searching

I have been searching for nigripis in NJ, USA for 6 months. They are very shy and are terrible shippers...... I wish someone would have a breeding pair.

Are these wild or tank raised?

I believed I have a pair, cost me about $45 a pop. Not layin any eggs thou, from what I read in one of the post here, the babies seems to be much harder to rear than ocellaris.

Reefbroncos,
I can't. They are my husbands clowns and he has had that 0ne for 3 years now. He is currently in the Gulf in the middle of his 8 month deployment.

Hi Amphiprion 13

I have 2 pairs and yes one is breeding, personally i have found them very similar to breeding a tomato clown, the larvae are of average size (tomato clown like) the only unique thing about the babies are they settle fairly late 12 days is vs 8 for a ocellaris and they develop the bar slowly after that upto about 2-3 weeks, the babies at 1 month are starting to go orangish, but thats as far as i have got.

as far as the hardieness and the shipping, i can kill the things, they seem to be tough steeds to me.

Christian

New breeding lines of nigripis...

I ll take one if you can get them through it.. Gooooood luck..

I want to mix the female I'm getting with your tank bred.. Introduce a new gene pool to them...

I hope I get some females soon..
