"20 Long" is a standard aquarium size in the US, approximately 76cm long, 30.5cm high, and 30.5cm wide (volume is about 75.7 liters). It is not necessary to use such a tank, but it can be convenient. I have two clownfish pairs spawning in one 20L (with a divider between them), so you don't need such a large tank, but it is probably better to use a larger one than one that is too small.
