Advice on making my clownfish pair up?

Hey guys,
So I've had my Ocellaris clownfish for over a year now but i don't think they have paired up. It's been annoying me because i want to breed them... The female will chase the male and he'll be submissive to her but they're usually found on opposite sides of the tank but they will usually sleep together. Is there anything i can do to encourage them to pair up and perhaps mate? The females about 3-3.5" and the males about 2.5-3"
Thanks,
~Nick

I have no idea what you have or have not tried. If you have been troubleshooting and researching this problem for a while you probably have heard anything I would suggest. If that's the case, you may want to try a new male or a new pair at this point.

If you're just now coming to the realization, you might try reading up on Wilkerson's book's suggestions for stubborn spawners. Much of it has to do with photoperiod, food and temp adjustments. You may also have an environment that is just not conducive. ie: your water is dirty or constantly fluctuating, or something in or outside the tank is bothering them.
