This will sound waaaay worse than the spirit in which it is meant but you and several other people encouraged the breeder to sell fish that should have been culled simply by opening your wallets. I'd sell crap fish too if people were buying them. I did speak to one person on RC from Dallas where some of the batch went and directly to a vendor in FL where another part of the batch went. I one of the sources reportedly requested a refund or exchange from the wholesaler. This was what should be happening in both this and in other instances.
We can complain all we want but as long as people are still willing to buy an inferior product, the whole industry will suffer.

I in no way want to discourage people from breeding fish in captivity. Especially the ones that are harder to get ahold of. I think it's awsome that people are willing to make the effort it takes to break new ground. Two things I'm learning to hate are deformed fish (not including mis-bars) and un-natural hybrid fish.
